The Penn Squall II 5ft 6in Trolling Rod in the 50–100lb class is a superb all-round offshore rod designed for anglers targeting tuna and other powerful pelagic species. Built on a strong yet forgiving tubular fiberglass blank, this straight butt model offers excellent balance, control, and fish-playing performance while remaining comfortable to use over long sessions on the water. Fitted with high-quality SeaGuide standard guides, the rod delivers smooth line flow and dependable durability under heavy drag pressures.
The 100lb class rating has become increasingly popular amongst bluefin tuna anglers, offering a noticeably more enjoyable and manageable fight with average-sized fish compared to heavier 130lb tackle. Many anglers now choose to carry a two-rod trolling setup — one heavier 130lb outfit for larger fish and demanding conditions, alongside a lighter 80lb or 100lb setup for a more sporting experience and greater versatility. If products are faulty or do not conform to the description, you may return them within 28 days of receipt and you will be entitled to a replacement or full refund.
Mr Fish reserves the right to retain the costs of delivery where goods are returned for no cause.
We test every product returned. If it is found not to be faulty it will be returned to you with a postage and insurance charge not exceeding £3.95.
We advise you to check any products you suspect might be faulty before returning them.
We reserve the right to charge a repackaging fee on goods that are returned without their original packaging, this fee will not exceed £3.95.
You may return any unopened products within 7 days of receipt for a full refund. We will refund your payment card once we have received and processed the package.
