Mr Fish 528lb Ball Bearing Cross Lock Snap Swivel
These are the style of heavy-duty ball bearing snap swivels I consider the gold standard for tuna trolling. I have sourced these directly from the factory and chosen the 528lb breaking strain specifically for serious bluefin tuna and big-game fishing.
The combination of a ball bearing swivel and heavy-duty cross lock snap gives you a strong, reliable connection while allowing your trolling gear to rotate freely. This is particularly important when trolling spreader bars, daisy chains and other large tuna presentations where twist can quickly build up in the leader.
For my own tuna rigs, these are ideal for fitting above a spreader bar, giving you a quick connection between your main leader and the bar. They are also an excellent choice for attaching removable stingers, allowing hooks or stinger leaders to be changed without having to cut and re-rig everything.
The 528lb rating gives plenty of strength for serious tuna work, while the cross lock design provides a secure connection that is still quick and easy to open when you need to change a rig.

Mick's Tip
I particularly like this style of swivel for spreader bars. Use one above the bar for your main connection and they are also superb for attaching your stinger. It makes changing a damaged leader or swapping stingers very quick, while still giving you the strength needed when a big bluefin grabs the business end.

If products are faulty or do not conform to the description, you may return them within 28 days of receipt and you will be entitled to a replacement or full refund.

We test every product returned. If it is found not to be faulty it will be returned to you with a postage and insurance charge not exceeding £3.95.
We advise you to check any products you suspect might be faulty before returning them.

You may return any unopened products within 7 days of receipt for a full refund. We will refund your payment card once we have received and processed the package.
