Description
Cox & Rawle Stainless Steel Ball Bearing Swivels
When you're targeting powerful fish such as bluefin tuna, giant trevally and other big-game species, the smallest components in your tackle can be just as important as your rod, reel and line.
These Cox & Rawle Stainless Steel Ball Bearing Swivels are built for demanding saltwater fishing, combining exceptional breaking strains with a compact, low-profile design.
Manufactured from 100% stainless steel, they feature a ball bearing mechanism for smooth rotation under load, helping to reduce line twist when fishing large lures, trolling rigs and heavy-duty leaders. The welded stainless steel rings provide additional security when considerable pressure is being applied.
I've stocked these particularly for our UK bluefin tuna anglers, where reliable connections are essential, whether you're trolling spreader bars, fishing large lures or assembling your own heavy-duty tuna rigs.
They're equally at home in tropical waters, where powerful predators and heavy tackle put every connection to the test.

Mick's Tip
I love these ball bearing swivels and use them myself when targeting some of the biggest and strongest fish on my travels to Oman and Panama.
One of my favourite ways of connecting heavy casting lures is to attach a strong split ring directly to the swivel. This gives me a compact, secure connection that allows me to change lures without relying on a conventional lure clip.
It's a simple arrangement I've used when fishing heavy tackle for GTs and other powerful tropical predators, and one I have a great deal of confidence in.
For our bluefin tuna anglers, these are also excellent swivels to consider when putting together heavy-duty trolling rigs and lure systems.
