Description
Cox & Rawle Bait Bridle Clips – Medium (5 Pack)
Rig your own live baits for bass, bluefin tuna and other predatory fish.
The Cox & Rawle Bait Bridle Clips are a simple and effective way of attaching live bait to your fishing hook without having to pass the hook directly through the bait itself.
These stainless steel bridle clips allow you to rig live fish securely while reducing unnecessary damage to the bait, helping it remain lively and swim naturally for longer.
With live bait fishing becoming increasingly popular for Atlantic bluefin tuna around the UK and Channel Islands, these clips are ideal for anglers who prefer to make up their own live bait rigs, choosing their own hooks, leaders and rigging arrangements.
They're equally useful for traditional live bait fishing for bass, particularly when fishing with live mackerel, launce, sandeels and pouting.
Why Use Bait Bridle Clips?
-
Less damage to live bait – avoids passing a large fishing hook directly through the bait.
-
Natural presentation – helps live baits remain lively and swim freely.
-
Make your own rigs – choose your preferred circle hooks, leader material and hook sizes.
-
Versatile – suitable for live baiting for bass, bluefin tuna and other predators.
-
Simple to use – a practical alternative to traditional bait bridling methods.
Mick's Tip
I've chosen to stock the medium size because it's spot on for the live baits we normally use around Jersey and the UK.
Live mackerel, launce, sandeels, pouting and similar-sized baitfish are all well suited to these clips. Whether you're making up a lighter rig for bass or a much heavier circle hook arrangement for bluefin tuna, the medium size is a very useful option.
For anyone wanting to make up their own live bait rigs rather than buying them ready-made, these are a handy bit of kit to have in your tackle box.
