BKK Kajiki HD Open Gap Hook
The BKK Kajiki HD Open Gap is a seriously strong big-game hook and one I particularly like for making up stinger rigs for tuna spreader bars and trolling lures.
The open-gap shape gives plenty of clearance for a positive hook-up, while the long, straight point is hand ground for excellent penetration. BKK also use a tin coating, giving the hook a bright, corrosion-resistant finish that's well suited to offshore saltwater fishing.
Another important feature for stinger work is the welded ring eye, giving you a strong and dependable connection when rigging with heavy mono, fluorocarbon or suitable assist/stinger cord.
For me, these are particularly well suited to 50lb to 80lb class trolling outfits, making them a great choice for stingers positioned behind spreader bars when targeting bluefin tuna and other powerful pelagic fish.

Mick’s Tip
Take particular notice of the point and shape of the Kajiki HD. The point is straight and runs virtually in line with the shank, while the open-gap design gives the hook a really wide gape.
