Meiho Light Game Case 3010 – LRF & Ultralight Soft Lure Storage Box

If you're into LRF, ultralight lure fishing or simply enjoy fishing with small soft plastics, the Meiho Light Game Case 3010 is a clever little Japanese tackle box designed specifically for keeping your smaller lures organised.

Originally developed for the Japanese light-game fishing scene, particularly Ajing (horse mackerel) and Mebaring (rockfish), this slimline case is equally at home with the small worms, miniature shads and eel-shaped soft plastics we use for LRF fishing around the UK.

What makes this case particularly interesting is Meiho's Worm Slip technology.

Unlike a conventional smooth tackle box lid, the Light Game Case 3010 features a specially textured interior surface designed to reduce soft plastic lures sticking to the lid. It's a simple but useful feature, particularly when storing those small, soft and sometimes rather sticky worm-style lures.

The case has five main rows and comes supplied with 25 removable dividers, allowing you to arrange the compartments to suit your own selection of lures. You can keep different sizes, colours and patterns neatly separated rather than having everything mixed together.

At only 18mm thick, it's also incredibly slim, making it easy to slip into a small fishing bag, rucksack or tackle pouch without taking up unnecessary space.

Mick's Tip

For LRF and ultralight fishing, it's surprising just how many different little soft lures you can end up carrying. Having them properly organised makes life much easier, especially when you're changing between colours and sizes to find what the fish want.

This is exactly the sort of box I'd look at for keeping a selection of small worms, miniature shads and eel-shaped lures together without carrying a big tackle box.

A very practical little storage solution for anglers who enjoy fishing light.

Please note: Some specialist soft plastic materials can react with other lures or plastics. Always follow the lure manufacturer's storage recommendations.
