I've always found the Vanford to be one of the best reels Shimano has produced for anglers who spend long days casting. At just 180g, it balances beautifully with lightweight lure rods such as the Shimano Lunamis and Dialuna, making it easy to fish all day without fatigue.
The high gear ratio retrieves around 86cm of line with every turn of the handle, making it ideal for working surface lures, minnows, soft plastics and metal lures. Whether you're walking a Patchinko across the surface, twitching a Duo Tide Minnow or covering water with a soft plastic, the Vanford gives you instant control over your lure.
Internally, Shimano have packed the Vanford with many of the same technologies found in their flagship reels. If products are faulty or do not conform to the description, you may return them within 28 days of receipt and you will be entitled to a replacement or full refund.
