Ragot Raglou Hybrid 105mm Soft Lure – 14.5g

The Ragot Raglou Hybrid 105 is the smaller and lighter version of the Hybrid and, for me, the 105mm 14.5g size is particularly well suited to shore bass fishing over shallower ground.

Just like the larger models, Ragot have taken their classic and proven Raglou ribbon/paddle tail and combined it with a modern weighted jighead-style body. The result is a compact soft lure with plenty of movement from the tail, but with the more realistic profile and beautifully detailed finish we expect from a modern lure.

At 105mm and just 14.5g, this is a lovely size for fishing shallow bays, rocky ground, reefs and other areas where you don't necessarily want a heavier lure dropping quickly through the water. It also gives you a smaller baitfish presentation when the bass are concentrating on little sandeels and other small prey.

Another thing I really like about the Raglou Hybrids is their durability. They're considerably tougher than many very soft modern lures, so they should take plenty of fish before needing to be replaced.

The painted heads and bodies are superb for the price, and with 2 fully rigged, ready-to-fish lures in every pack, I think they represent excellent value.

Mick's Tip

This is probably the size I'd reach for first when shore fishing shallower water. The 14.5g weight allows me to fish it without it sinking too quickly, while the 105mm profile is a great match for the smaller baitfish and sandeels our bass regularly feed on.
