The NEW Ultimate Fishing Engineering Five EVO SP82MH "Waterborne" is the new UF version of the classic Tenryu SP82MH "Long Cast", a rod that is probably the best selling Tenryu for "general" lure fishing at distance, as it can belt out a Patchinko 140 and also work a softie on a 20g pefectly.

The Five EVO SP 82 MH "Waterborne" is an ideal rod for fishing with paddle tails lures using a straight retrieve or light sink-and-draw techniques. It’s also widely used for topwater lure fishing. As its name suggests, this rod was designed to help anglers achieve long casting distances. We highly recommend it for exploratory fishing and shore fishing situations where covering a lot of water is essential.

Made in Japan, the Ultimate Fishing "Five EVO" range of rods are all built using the mandrels of Tenryu rods. Of course these are not Tenryu, but the action is almost identical to them. All fitted with Fuji reel seats and Fuji Sic guides, the "Five EVO" rods exceptional quality for the money. The new EVO versions have a new design reel seat with an EVA foam foregrip.
