The Sammy, one of the most iconic surface lures that has ever been made. It was this lure that introduced the UK to Japanese surface lure fishing back in the late 90's and it transformed my personal fishing methods. Still deadly in the right situations, I use the Sammy when the sea is a bit calmer and the lure needs to slip in a zig-zag across the surface with a big splash.
I would suggest using the hooks fitted for one or two trips then change if you start to see rust appearing, as these are perma steel fresh water hooks and are not designed for prolonged salt water use.
