The Rolling Stick 5in bait is ideal with jigheads from 5-20g. A great twitching bait, mimicing anything from a bait fish to a blenny or simular.
These baits are what I use when the water is gin clear, and when there is a bit of tide to cope with. There is no need for a paddle tail when the water is moving or clear, but dont ever take that as read, this is fishing after all and you must be willing to sometimes try things that go against what you have learnt. When the fishing is hard or we cant work out what the fish want, my fishing buddy Bob will put on a paddle tail and I will use a stick tail, covering our options to see what the fish want.
