The Yo-Zuri Duel Aile Magnet, or Mag Popper as it is known in the UK is one of the most popular surface lures around. This is probably due to the fact it is so esy to use and also catches Bass very well.
The Duel magnet system was the first magnetic weight transfer system to be used in fishing lures, this going back about 20 years, and just shows how advanced the Japanese have been in quality lure manufacturing.
To use the mag Popper there is no great skill involved. You can either twitch the rod to make the lure walk the dog, or in windy conditions, where twitching does not seem to walk the lure, just use different retrieve rates with the reel handle.
This lure not only walks it also pops water, creating a a splash by the tiny lipped underslung face of the lure.
