The Stick Slim has been a favourite surface lure with many anglers here is Jersey for many years now. It is one of those lures that litterally walks itself, with little effort or skill needed from the angler.
The strange shape of the Stick Slim is designed so the head of the lure is permanently out of the water, leaving the back end trailing in the water. This creates drag on the lure but allows the head end to easily zig and zag from side to side with small twitches of the rod tip.
On clear water days with cloud the Perch pattern has been deadly, and on clear days with the sun shining the Yellow comes into its own. For all other occasions including when the water isnt gin clear, the White one is the choice.
