More Information
These are the "Fat" versions of the Prey Stick Baits, they mimic fuller bodied bait fish like Smelts, Baby Mullet and Pollack.
These sinking stick baits are extremely effective at doing what they do. They are a lure that all lure anglers should remember are out there, as sometimes a plug, softie or Metal may not preform correctly.
The thing with lures like these are they are designed to be used at distance, allowing the shore or boat anler to reach reefs and white water marks without endangering themselves.
The technique is called many things but a simple sink and draw action works perfectly. This action basically means the lure will fall through the water like a stunned fish, then the angler jerks/raises the rod and takes a few turns of line, then try and allow the lure to be controlled on the drop (this isnt as important as many claim, and dont worry if you lose contact).
