The Bulldog 762 is the big brother of the 702. The 762 is our best selling jigging rod, it is massively popular here in Jersey with wreck/reef anglers, and also a number of us took these rods to Norway last year for the Cod and Coal Fish.
The eyes are double legged, where the eyes on the 702 are single legged. The sensitivity is still these on the 762, we were using 150g jigheads with big paddle tail softies.
The rod was also used for casting Jet Runner lures, these weigh 76g and we were properly hitting them into Coal Fish up to 36lb and Cod to 44lb.
For vertical fishing these rods give the angler the confidence to lean right into big fish, but still have the sensitivity to feel the smallest of bites.
