The Yasasii was designed for vertical use from boats, which it is simply amazing for. The Japanese blank has been designed and tested for maximum feel of the lure, meaning every tap from the bottom, structure of fish is transmitted straight back to the angler.

The blank is Japanese made and all the fitting are Fuji. The Yasasii comes with a hard travel tube too.

I saw this rod and realised straight away that it is one of the most perfect HRF rods that I have ever handled. The casting weight of 15-30g is about right for vertical fishing from the boat, but if you were to be casting jigheads in a HRF style then anything from 7g upwards would be perfect.
